TDR analysis (Time Domain Reflectometry) shows the impedance variation as a function of propagation time or transmission line length.
The measurement result is shown in form of an oscillogram on the screen of the connected computer.
The combination of a fast pulse generator with a rise time of less than 100 ps and a sampling scope of 5 GHz bandwidth leads to a system-bandwidth of more than 3 GHz.
Thus measurements with a timing resolution in the range of pico-seconds are possible.

The handy sized line impedance analyzer D-TDR 3000 is used for line impedance measurements of various transmission lines and allows the precise localization of cable faults, shorts and termination mismatches.

The multiport line impedance analyzer TDR 1500x8 combines a fast TDR reflectometer with a 8:1 multiplexer allowing to analyse up to 8 devices under test simultaneously.
All instrument settings are changed over the easy-to-use graphical user interface.
Measurement results are displayed on the PC-monitor and can be stored and exported for further processing on the computer.
Adjustable cursors in vertical and horizontal direction allow precise measurements of propagation time,
transmission line length, reflection factor and line impedance.
