Output Eye Diagram Pulse Pattern Generators

Broadband pulse pattern generators for hardware-based pseudo random binary sequences (PRBS) and memory-based user programmable bit patterns at data rates between 10 Mbps and 56 Gbps. Complete bit error rate tester (BERT) in combination with a Sympuls error analyzer. The separately available amplifier and multiplexer modules allow to increase the output amplitude and extend the bitrate beyond 100 Gbps. Available as single-channel or mult-channel devices with up to 8 synchronous, but independently programmable output channels for a wide range of test and measurement applications, e.g. OC-192 / STM64, OC-768 / STM 256.

Ternary Pulse Pattern Ternary Pattern Generators (3-PAM)

Broadband test generators for ternary signals at symbol rates between 100 MBaud and 20 GBaud. Return-to-zero (RZ) output signal with independently adjustable amplitudes of positive and negative pulses. Freely programmable pattern memory for up to 512 million symbols.

Multi-level Pattern 16-PAM Multi-Level Pattern Generator (16-PAM)
Multi-level generator for testing digital designs and components, e. g. laser diodes. The data outputs provide a multilevel signal code, i.e. the output signal can adopt one out of sixteen possible voltage values. Every code element therefore is encoded using four bits.

Multi-Channel Pattern Multi-Channel Pattern Generator
Pattern generators with up to 8 synchronous but independently programmable output channels. Each channel can be programmed to generate pseudo random binary sequences or user-defined pulse patterns up to 512 MBit length. The adjustable internal delay allows to compensate for differences in propagation time and synchronize the output signals at the device under test.
